Leaving for Atlanta
Jan 4, 2004
I’m sitting in the airport right now, typing on my boss’s laptop. I’m about to board a flight for Atlanta, GA to attend the AAS meeting. Our research group (website) is presenting several posters at the conference, and I was lucky enough to be invited along.
I think it’ll be a lot of fun hobnobbing with famous astronomers from all over the country, and there are some data processing and database related topics at the meeting to keep me interested.
I’m waiting for Michael so we can check in—hence, the airport blog entry. I probably won’t update in Atlanta, but we’ll see where I can pick up access.
