A month of non-updates

In other news, I picked up Aeon Flux on DVD. I wish Liquid TV was still going.. contrast it with shows like “70’s House” and the like: there is no comparison. MTV is now a cultural suck-hole.
I bought Cory Doctorow’s Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town to read over the weekend. I think I’m 100 pages in or so—pretty interesting. I’m starting to get immersed in the surreal world Doctorow created, but I haven’t figured out why I am there.
My vacation is over, and there’s no way I’m going to post a ton of photos here. I suggest you visit the following Flickr sets:

While on the trip, I had entertained the idea of writing down a journal entry for each day, and then blogging the trip timeshifted a week backward. This idea didn’t pan out. Overall, my vacation was fantastic. We saw hundreds of elk, experienced some serious weather (lightning / hail at 12,000 feet), and hiked 40-odd miles of beautiful trails. When I returned, I had virtually forgotten how to type, and that is a good thing.
